Description
For this flowerbed construction project, our client wanted a new flowerbed designed to match an existing one we had previously created, aiming for a seamless, unified look across their landscape. The goal was to extend the aesthetic and create a balanced appearance, so we carefully planned each element to mirror the original flowerbed while enhancing the natural beauty of the yard.
To start, we marked out the dimensions to match the shape and size of the existing flowerbed. We began with excavating the area to clear old dirt and debris, giving us a fresh foundation for the new design. Once prepped, we installed high-quality weed fabric to minimize future weed growth and ensure the bed remains low-maintenance for the client.
For the plant selection, we added two beautiful Saturn Juniper trees, strategically positioned in front of the bay window to create a cohesive focal point. These evergreens offer year-round greenery and bring a structured, polished look that complements the home’s architecture and ties into the existing landscaping. To further enhance the aesthetic, we selected matching rock to layer across the surface, achieving the same texture and color scheme as the original bed and providing natural contrast against the junipers.
For a clean, finished edge, we installed durable edging that matches the previous bed’s style, creating a defined boundary that prevents soil and rocks from shifting out of place. Each element was carefully chosen and placed to ensure this new bed not only complements but also enhances the existing landscape design.
The finished project gave our client a beautifully balanced landscape with cohesive flowerbeds that provide curb appeal and a sense of unity. The client was thrilled with the seamless addition, which elevated the look and feel of their entire outdoor space.
